BORG wins Hyperliquid auction bolstering on-chain future

We’re thrilled to share that BORG is officially heading to Hyperliquid.
Hyperliquid is considered by many experts as the “Binance of DEXs” due to its record-breaking numbers since the exchange’s inception. After a successful Dutch auction wbid, SwissBorg is now the proud owner of token #244, marking an exciting step forward in our mission to build an on-chain future together.

What just happened?

Hyperliquid, the leading on-chain perpetual DEX, has a unique and fair approach to launching new spot tokens. Every 31 hours, one new token earns the right to be listed through a Dutch auction process. The initial price starts at 2x the last winning price, then gradually drops until a bidder steps in and claims it.

SwissBorg participated in this auction process, securing the BORG listing for $53,370.55. We’re now the official owner of token slot #244 on Hyperliquid.

While BORG isn’t live for trading just yet, owning the listing slot means that spot trading on Hyperliquid is on the horizon. No firm timeline is available at the moment, but the groundwork is now laid.

Why Hyperliquid?

Hyperliquid has rapidly emerged as the top destination for perpetual DEX trading, recently surpassing Uniswap with a record $20 billion in daily trading volume. That’s roughly 25% of Binance and half of Bybit’s daily volume—a remarkable feat for a decentralised platform.

In terms of overall market share, Hyperliquid now dominates with over 60% of all DEX activity and is ranked in the top five across all perpetual exchanges— (CEXs + DEXs) putting it ahead of legacy players like Deribit and Bitmex.

Why BORG and should holders care?

The listing on Hyperliquid represents a meaningful leap for the BORG token and SwissBorg’s long-term vision.
